Global Connect VPN

The Department of Technology Services is in the middle of upgrading our VPN connection from Cisco AnyConnect to Palo Alto Global Protect. There will be a different icon and interface to sign into beginning March 17.

Please sign in to Global Protect and test the access. If unsuccessful, please restart and attempt it again. If unsuccessful a second time, please let Heidi Tak know. 

If you can’t find Global Protect, you can search for the app. It should already be on your computer. Open the app and then click connect (you need to already be connected to an internet source).

If Cisco is still working, that’s just fine. Just watch for Global Protect in coming days. 

If Global Protect is not connecting, try restarting and then let Heidi know if it is still unsuccessful. Most likely, you will also put in a DTS ticket but it helps her understand the extent of problems.

Global protect can be found by searching your apps.
